Premium Cycling Apparel Designed To Set You Free
These roads and these clothes are our path to freedom. We aim to create the best apparel can be, for you, for the ride, for the planet. With one aim and one purpose. To set yourself free. This is why we call ourselves Free-riders.
But what is a Free-rider?
We started Parietti with the belief that there are riders out there who don’t always have their head down, dealing solely in hard metrics. In speed and distance and the ceaseless pursuit of greater speed and further distance. We believe there are cyclists who look up. Those who live for the ride and the great outdoors, not just the finish time.
We started to make the most comfortable and responsibly made cycle clothing possible for the riders who look up. The cyclist who covers the same distance, the same climbs as the head down, hard faced hardcores, but who do it in their own time. Head up. Stopping to take it all in and appreciate. To take a pause, breathe, to look out over the land and sea. To see how far they’ve come and how much farther they have to go. Always with a sense of hope and the spirit of adventure.
Freeride Attitude
Cycling is an industry saturated by performance pressure, often a toxic brand of narcassistic machismo. Freeriding is a state of a mind, inclusive of any person and background. It's inclusive cycling, it's welcoming, respectful and authentic. A positive shift away from the constant pings of data led lives, performance pressures and self doubt, towards the pure, unadulterated freedom of riding outside, free. Living for the ride, not just the finish time. Finding Joy and Freedom being outdoors on a bike.
The Freerider Spirit was born with us.
This was our belief, our purpose, our north star. In a homogenous market of same-same we wanted to offer a different message. Not one about how fast or far, but about how you feel. To get outside and SET YOURSELF FREE, to look up and SEE THE SKY, to go GET HIGH on nature. And to LEAVE NO TRACE while we do it.
Ditch the data, look up and take time to enjoy the ride. It’s not all Mamils and metrics. Fitbits and Pb's. Life comes at you fast enough. Take time to Free-Ride.
